Puppies - now sold

Our sheepdog Tess had 5 puppies on the 28th October. We are selling 3 of these, which will be ready to go on the 16th December.

There are 2 boys and a girl. They are all tri-colour. They will make good working dogs or excellent pets.

Dogs £180, bitches £200

Kittens - all sold now, but we may have some more in the summer.

All these ones pictured are sold now, however we have one little brindle coloured girl available from a more recent litter - similar to the ones in the second picture down.

We are also expecting some more which will be ready to go in January.

Sheep
We have here on the farm a flock of Dorset X Soay sheep. The Dorsets (polled and D.Down) are large white sheep, and the Soays are small, brown, horned and very hardy.

The resulting offspring come in all shades through black - brown - tan - greys - white. Some have horns, and some not.

These are very hardy sheep, and lamb very easily. They are ideal in a parkland or garden setting as they look good, and more or less look after themselves (unlike your average sheep!). Lambing is also an exciting time, as you never quite know what is going to pop out.

They will survive on fairly sparse grazing, and are suitable for most environments, subject to adequate fencing.

We have various ages and sexes for sale, including two strong rams which are ready to go now.

Sheeps' Fleece
We have a stock of different colour fleeces for spinning. The fleeces are from our own organically reared sheep and are therefore free from any chemical treatments.

The fleece is raw and unwashed. POA - please call and let us know if you are interested. We can post if necessary.

Sheepskins - all SOLD now, however please enquire as we may get some more done.

These are beautifully organically tanned skins, and are quite durable. We have been using some for many years, and machine wash them when necessary (without washing powder).

Solar Panels
A local company Solex Energy Ltd can supply flat solar heating panels. They can supply bare panels, panels with fixings or complete kits, at prices that we think are very competitive.

The panels are made in Europe and are Solar Keymarked (industry wide quality standard). Priced from £210+vat for a 2m² panel.

Solar Shower Cabins
Solex Energy built our first stand alone solar shower cabin in 2008. This has performed very well for us through two camping seasons, and they are now marketing these.

Based on new converted shipping containers, these units are totally self contained and self powered - they just need a water supply. They are transported on a standard crane lorry, and may be offloaded, unfolded and connected in about half an hour.

The running cost is only that of the water used - the energy costs and CO₂ emissions are zero.

They are ideal for campsites, festivals, events and any other location where showers are required.
